Default I need help!!!

I have water leaking from inside the car? I took everything apart to see where the water was coming from...and it looks like its coming from somewhere behind the glove box? Their is a cylinder shape thing that i believe one of the ac hose hooks up to right behind the glove box and is right above the bcm? Well anyways that hose that hooks up to it is leaking. Dripping water right on the bcm and is making my alarm go off when i lock my c5. SO can someone please help me!!! im going crazy and my neighbors and complaining. i already had to cuss them out lol. any suggestion on how to fix the leak!?

could be 2 things, clogged udders, or a clogged AC drain.

both documented problems. the udders are rubber tubes that carry rainwater down from the upper cowlnig area. sometimes you can reach down and get to them but the easy way (although takes some work) remove the access panels just behind each of the front wheels. you'll see the udders in there. clean the crap out of them and water will probably pour out.

or, the AC drain could be clogged. which makes the moisture condense and eventually it overflows whatever its condensing into. the drain is kind of hard to get to. its a small rubber thing with a 90* bend in it, mounted to the firewall. access it from the passenger's side. its kind of behind the engine.

mine had a small rock in it somehow, it was soaking the passenger's feet. I popped it off and water came pouring out. cleaned the clog and reinstalled.

no more water leaks for me! I had both problems, water pouring into the car in both footwells, cleaned the above and no problems in 3+ years.

On the passenger side behind the head. It's easy to get to if you have a lift, or jack the car up ,jack stand and reach up and pop it out. Once you clean it out snip the end off. A little tip my tech told me last week, use some oil on the end that goes in the firewall, makes it easy to push in. Here's a great thread on leaks. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...ak-checks.html

A few years ago I had the HVAC air box drain block up, I remover the passenger seat, removed the carpet and placed a fan blowing air in the car over night. The next day I cleaned the carpet and let it dry outside for the day. Then put everything back and have not had a problem since.
