I know these threads are all speculation , but I was having a debate with a few friends on what the 1/4 mile time of my Vette would be. So, if anyone is running a similar setup I would really appreciate some feedback. I really don't see myself going to the track anytime soon, so this is the best source for an answer right now
2000 Coupe
Vararam
Kooks Longtubes
Corsa Catback
4:10 Gears
Z06 Sways
Full Tune
Torch Red Paint :o
Any clue on what this setup would warrant in the 1/4 ?
2000 FRC,, with only blackwing,,Corsa touring,,and what would amount to a tune. In the St.Louis area,,capped the night with a 13.08/110.23,,best ever pass. With your set up,,1/2 to 3/4 second less should be easy,,and about 5 mph more!! Figuring you are not too far above sea level,,and get a fairly cool dry air night!!
NY, nice cold day... low 12's. 4.10's will make a big difference in that combo if you can launch it on sticky tires. Go in the fall in good air and conditions and go get your best ET! Good luck!
I plan to later in the summer, but for the next month my Sundays are booked solid. My friend and I were just having a debate about what the car would run

What does Sunday have to do with taking the car to the track?
Most tracks are open several days a week for test and tune nights.
Here is a list that will show you what you car has the potential of running. It is good for setting goals. You will not come close to the times some have ran on your first time out. None of us did.
I ran 14.something my first time to the track. I got some drag radials and practiced a lot. got down to 12.0xx before doing any real mods to it.
Practice and get some drag radials - that will drop your times...
