Default pressure washer question

i was getting ready to spray the vette off and my pressure washer hose took a crap..bad thing is its brand new..my question is,if i go to a larger size hose will this lower the psi from the pressure washer?..its got 1/4 inch 3000 psi hose now and is was thinking of going to 5/16 3700 psi hose..

I wouldn't touch my Vette with any kind of high-pressure at all. Rinse with garden spray, wash by hand, rinse with garden spray and dry. Not counting wheels, about 15-20 minutes.

As long as you don't change nozzle size, the pressure should remain the same. I also use a pressure washer, but use one of the lower settings. Saves a ton of water.

what do u guys think about pressure washing the underside of the vette to get grease and build up off. or would that not be suggested?

Remember that Flow and Pressure are inversely proportional.
