Need a Key Fob
I just came back from the dealer and they want $115 for a new key fob. Is it just me or does that seem a little high? Anyone know where I can get one for less?

OP seems to have a 98. I don't believe an 04 fob will work with a 98.

If you have a '98 get the FOB for the '00. It doesn't have the annoying passive feature and is cheaper.
The '01-'04 will not work with earlier cars.

I'm sure you can find a fob on the parts section here for cheap. I got mine for $30 on the parts section. (Ironic because I'd just sold the two from my totaled 02 before hand.)

Thanks for all the info. I hate the passive feature and would not miss it if it was gone. Will the 2000 work for sure? I read that 2000 and up would not work, I also saw the 2001 and up was the cut off.

2000 will work with your car. The late model receiver is for 2001-2004.

If you have the old key fob theres numbers on the back match them up to the new key fob, be careful about buying used ones i purchased a used one for my 2000 with the correct part numbers and I couldn't get it to work

Yeah... I didn't realize that for a while. Made hugging people awkward.
