Default Vibration at higher speeds.

I'm thinking it might be the rim, but not sure. Whenever I hit 80mph the car starts to vibrate pretty badly. It feels like it's coming from the front. My first guess is that maybe I bent the rim somehow (there's been a lot of construction, so maybe I hit a pothole), but I'm not sure if there's anything else that it could be.

Anyone have any thoughts as to what I should check? Is there an easy way to check the rim or should I just take it to Discount?

Go to a performance shop or tire/wheel shop that deals with high-end cars. Most of the will have a Hunter 9500 balancer that is capable of testing run-out and deviation in wheels.

Also, you could just have a tire that is separating. Either way, the Hunter will evaluate and report what is going on.

Good Luck
