[Z06] General Exclaim UHP Front Size?

General Exclaim UHP Front Size?

I am thinking about buying a set of these for my dd Z. Question is, they do not offer a 265/40/17 for the front, they sell a 255/40, or a 275/40. Which would be best on my stock Z wheels?

275/40/17 is what I would run, lots of people do, and it works fine. You can run the 255s if you want as well, either one will probably work fine.

I assume you're buying rear tires too? If so, I'd go 275 up front and see if these come in 305/35/18 for the rear.

Thanks, I checked generals' web site, and 295s are as big as they make in an 18" size.

I've been running the General Exclaim UHP's about 2 years now, no rub, no problems in the front with the 275's.

The are wearing great, only difference is the cornering at speed, the Generals have a more flexible sidewall and lean more into hard turns. I would be careful running Generals on the front and something less flexible on the rear.
