ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE !!Ok first off Heres the kit I purchased from NASCAR57
heres what i used plain solder wand,i used 60/40 noncorrosive solder and shrink wrap and electrical tape and a old cloths hanger to fish the wire through the footwell
next i took tha door panel off and the seal plate cover,takeing off door panel, pop off bezel around door opener and take out the 2 torx screws behind the door pull i think there (torx 25)next pull out window and door lock switch and unplug it and set aside,now pry panel apart from door I used a screw driver remember be easy start from left to right till there all free from door then pull up and set panel aside Next pull up on door seal cover and it just pops up and take it out too.
wire through door handle and peel and stick led to upper door handle
when u run wire through door make sure wire doesnt interfear with window travel up and down
This pic is lookg down in the door see the wire coming from door handle to inside door
Now i ran wire down edge of panel and duct taped it to top of door
next here is where the hanger wire comes in i pulled the edge of rubber boot back in between door and car i taped the wire to hanger and fished it through boot into footwell I fished with my left hand and felt for wire with right theres a square rubber piece that u have to pop out to let the wire come through also behind this panel the the wires going to the door from tha factory
ok wires from leds are red and black wires from footwell leds are orange and black REMEMBER BLACK TO BLACK AND RED TO ORANGE i chose to solder mine for a better connection but u can also use butt connectors or what ever u perfer your gonna solder 3 wires on each side all blacks together and all orange and reds i used heat shrink for protection and electric tape to wrap everything together and tuck it back behind footwell panel and press footwell panel back into place then replace door seal cover just push it back into place and put your panel back on . I hope this helps a little TSTAR helped with what wires go where this is the first time ive ever did any electrical soldering but it was very easy and i did research on youtube for soldering and other doorhandle led installs my next installs going to be leds over the exhaust plate.well ladies an gentlemen elvis has left the building .PEACE !!
