I finally became a Corvette owner with the purchase of a Torch Red2003 Z06 Corvette today and I haven't stopped smiling yet.

Thanks guys, I've been lurking around the forum since 2008 and finally pulled the trigger with todays purchase.

I am partial to Red and have a Ford Lightning in Red as well.

Nice ride bro. I've had my vette since 2006 and still love. I've had a couple minor issues which I sorted out cheaply and easily with the help of CF.

Thanks again everyone. I have a question / observation for you folks. While driving around yesterday, 2 other vette owners gave me "the whats up" hand wave. Is it common to do this with other vette owners? It was very cool.
