I just saw it Saturday with my two and three year old. I just bought an '04Z and when my 3 year old daughter saw it she said rather loudly, "Daddy, that's like your car!!". I have to say I'm pretty proud that she is catching the Corvette fever like her dad.
I bought one of the C5 Barbie cars at a Thrift Store. Lots of scratches and I thought I would paint it silver to match my car. Ha! There is no paint that would stick, so I have it sitting in the shed. Also found a C4. Maybe I will just try to clean it up and put it with the other Vette models. Only $2 so no big loss. Wonder if they will bring out a C6?

Did you try that new paint for outdoor plastic furniture? You might be able to use it as a kind or primer to get the other paint to stick. I painted a plastic chair about 3 years ago and it's still on there.
That Corvette Barbie is the older version. I heard on the news that the new Barbie has the more "image-appropiate" figure (smaller bewbs and a bigger azz) for better role modeling. At least now they give the newer Barbie her own credit card. Cuz now she has to buy her own chit.

I believe its Krylon Fusion paint!! Should work,,at least it's worth a try!!
If you want to paint your plastic Barbie car,
go to any automotive paint shop and get a can of
plastic adhesion promoter. Body shops use this when
painting plastic bumper covers. You can get this in a spray
can for simple application. You just spray a very light
coat of this shortly before you paint your top coat and
it acts as a bonding agent and adds flex ability to the
topcoat. I use this all the time to paint the ABS front
nosepieces that I use on my dirt track racecars. They can
take quite a beatin' and the paint stays on really well.
Just my .02 cents

I bought one also, I used Krylon Fuzion to paint mine yellow. it looks cool on a shelf, but thats about it. I bought a Bratz 62 vette in the same scale in hopes of painting it to match my 62, but its sat for almost 3 years on the "to do" list....
