Default GM Bra Install Question

I did a search and found one related article but not exactly what I was looking for so ----

We have a long road trip coming up and I'm planning to install the GM Bra on my 97. I have full screen package on the front and blackouts on the corner lights.

For those who have the bra and a similar set-up, how did you deal with the brake duct screens? Did you remove the screens, cut off the tabs on the bra or fold them under as suggested in an archive post?

Thanks

I have a GM bra and screens and my bra just goes over the screens, Nothing hooks anywhere near the screens, Mine snaps on the wheel wells, Clips under the hood and snaps under the bottom of the car.

I just had to buy a new one a few weeks ago to replace the one I had for 5 years (don't ask why)and the new one has flaps that you are suppose to bend into the air ducks . I also have the screens on my air ducks and it just wasn't going to work sooooo, I just cut the little clip thingys off and it now is just like my old one .

I bought one of the newer style GM bras when I bought my current car - it does have the tabs around the brake duct opening that the older style did not have. I run the screens and what I have done is just fold the tabs under the bra and do not use them to secure the bra to the car. Works fine and no flapping that I can tell.

Vetteman Jack, that was the option I ran across in the archives. May try that first and see how it works. If I chose to sell the bra in the future that would be the better option.

I'd be afraid that the flaps would scratch the paint.

Hmmmm, My GM Bra just snaps in the wheel wells and it is off and on in 5 mins, I don't have to remove anything.
