Not any of my cars. Years ago my mom let the hospital valet park her car. When she back from her dr appointment the head valet had to tell her the car was "damaged". The idiot had let the arm on the parking gate bounce off her roof a couple of times.

I had the option at the Cincinatti Hilton. Even after a long drive the hotel valets were like, "hand me the keys, and I'll go park it for ya". "Ah no, nobody drives my car but me, I am just a bit **** that way", I say. They looked at me like I was crazy, and I'm sure they had parked many vettes and other more expensive cars than mine before.
At this location, the parking garage was in a different building, so you had go circule around a few streets/blocks to get back to the garage. That was the clincher for me. I could not bring myself to do it.
My kids are older than these guys, and they don't drive my vette.
absolutely no way I'd let a valet touch the vette. Years ago I had a new T-Bird Super Coupe 5spd .. valet parked it at a downtown hotel.... when I picked it up, it had 17 additional miles on the odo (I had written it down), seat was all the way back and reclined , radio full blast on rap stations (they reset all the presets).. while no permanent damage, I consider it a permanent warning not to valet. Another trick used in Houston was valets making copies of the keys and having their buddy drive the car off, when the owner arrived he was told the car was stolen .."see, I still have the keys" .. written disclaimer on the valet receipt said "not responsible for loss" of course. Police finally busted them after dozens of cars stolen that way.
Thanks for the advice! Believe me this will come in handy big time for me since there's a lot of places here in Los Angeles that don't have self parking. (What a load of crap. LOL)
I go to NYC a lot and ALWAYS give the valet at least $5 when he parks it, if it is really busy I give him a little more. I always park in the same garage and they always keep me on the first level and very safe. I always make sure that I take care of the valets.
Yeah, I tip between $3 and $5 all the time. Sometimes I tip $10-$20 depending on the situation. But I've always tipped when I pick up the car. Not before. Now I'll be tipping when drop the car off. Especially in Vegas.
My girlfriend's son was a valet. I got to hear all the stories you'd not want to know. He/they parked cars under a building. Hot cars got 'tested' underground on the way to the parking stall. Since the valets had the only access to their level, they knew none of the parked cars would move while they'd rip down the aisle.
The only place I'll valet my vette is in front else I park it myself.
What I usually do is tell the guy heres a double saw buck (20 bucks)where do I park. Never has failed. I usually get the primo spot up front and park it myself!
