I used my defroster one night last week, the next night I turned it on back to the vents. Never blows though the vents since. I have the duel zone controls.
What could be the problem?
If so it could be that the vacuum on the ac doors are not working which in a lot of cases results in the plastic tubing under your battery is broken from battery acid.

Blows from defroster on any selection. I notice it blows though the vents when only defroster is on. I have a extended warranty, so it might be the best bet to let them take care of it. Doesn't blow strong from the vents
If its under warranty let them deal with it as it could be corroded vacuum lines or as simple as the 90 degree vacuum line unhooked from the back of the manifold!
Correct, the vacuum hose from the back of the intake, runs behind/under the battery is most likely the culprit. The HVAC system in most GM's default to defrost when INSANE (so you can at least see where your going. Usually a cracked/broken vacuum hose.

First go and pull any codes from the DIC, reset the codes for the HVAC this should reset the actuators. You'll hear them after you clear the codes out.
