[Z06] 6 speed issues...help!

6 speed issues...help!
I just put long tubes on the car the other day and now I'm having trans issues. Kinda weird and inconsistent...I'm driving it normally and I get a little grind into 3rd gear, never happened before didnt' think much of it besides maybe I didn't push the clutch all the way in. Then same thing later on going into 4th. Trans acts perfectly fine again for a bunch of stop lights then starts the same thing again. Then I leave a light and push the clutch in to shift from 1st to 2nd and it won't come out of first, then acts normal again. To me it seems like a hydraulic issue, is it possible that a clutch fluid line is getting too hot? I don't remember seeing anything really close to the headers but this is really weird. Trans had 0 issues prior to this. Any thoughts?

You're not the first person to start having clutch problems after doing headers, or even other power adding mods. First order of business would be to remove your present clutch fluid and replace it with the best stuff you can find, preferably DOT4 synthetic. You might have to do this several times, and there's a protocol for doing this....do a search. If this doesn't cure your problem, then there's other steps you can take before replacing any parts.
