Default Issues to look out for?

Looking onto getting a C5. Nothing older than a 2001 and no more than 65K. I'm coming from a 2007 X-runner with some mods

What are some things to look out for with these cars? Some known problems, etc... I'm not used to a big forum like this so it's been kind of hard to find some info on known problems and what to look out for. I just don't want to get screwed.

Also is there a way to install a Double Din in these cars? I read something about an aftermarket bezel coming out but that was an old thread.

My current whip. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-a...67_7015641.jpg

You need to look for such things as rocking seats, differential seal leaks, headlight motors, etc. I've got some Word files, including a Corvette Buyer's Checklist that may help you out. If you'd like a copy, just PM me your e-mail address.

It may be tomorrow evening or Sunday before I can send them to you - I'm at Bloomington Gold and will return home tomorrow.

That would be awesome. I will send you a PM.

Anything I consider, I would have them lift up the car anyways. How do the clutches in these cars hold up as well as the 6-spd tranny?
