Default ECS Cam

So I am thinking about taking the plunge and letting ECS install a cam package on my 02 Z06. I was wondering if anyone has had their cam installed on their Z06 and what results in rear wheel HP they had. I hope it will give around 430-440 Hp is that a realistic goal just for a cam.

You'll most likey be getting the infamous "George Z Cam". I got exactly 430 rwhp on my 02 Cam only Z06. You will not be dissapointed. The rumble and minor shake was awsome, but not over the top. Driveability was great, no bucking, no surging at low rpm's, most didn't suspect a cam was in there, till I easily walked away. I've since gone with an ECS forged 402, but I loved my cam only ls6 from ECS.

Can the stock LS6 Clutch hold a car with a cam or do I need to upgrade it. How much will the stock clutch hold. I plan not to do any track time with it just some fun on the street legally of course

If you run the car hard, or race no, it will not hold. It's just a matter of time before you have to upgrade. My car makes 435/405 with a cam only setup.

As stated, with the stock clutch its only a matter of time. At the time I upgraded to an Ls7 clutch and it was more than adequate.
