I believe my rear view mirror does not dim. Is it supposed to be in dimming mode when the little green light is on? If so, then the reflection in the mirror is no different with the little green light on or off. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM...................Oh well. It isn't going to kill me. I'm too busy listening to the roar of the engine and the growl of the exhaust to notice half the shtt that's going on in the world around me when I'm driving my Vette anyways; so what the hell. Who cares.

Ya know, especialy at night, it is hard to see a difference by just looking in the mirror. What you might do is park a car behind you with the brights on, sit in the vette with the little green light on, and turn it off. You should see the reflection get a lot brighter. Easier to see if its doing anything that way.

Normally... If your outside mirrors are adjusted correctly and you are in the right lane, you should not see the headlights of a car directly behind you in the outside right mirror. As cars pass you on the left their headlights DO catch you in the eyes via the left outside mirror - so it auto-dims just like the inside mirror.
