I'm finally getting around to doing my first real performance mod upgrade. Beforehand, I concentrated on my interior and audio/visual. I plan on having XS Power headers and catback, Vararam and a LS6 intake. All of the above will be installed by ECS and they will also tune at the same time.
I plan on replacing the current stock tunnel plate. As I drive a Vert, I'm looking for a little more ridgity and definitely some heat reduction. Any recommendations?
While ECS is doing the install, what else should I have them do. I'm thinking spark plugs and wires. I already have a 160 thermostat. What are your thoughts?

ECS will give you good guidance, according to a Zillion posts here by satisfied customers....Plugs and wires only if there are lots of miles....IMHO....
Good to put the new tunnel plate put on while doing the headers since the exhaust system needs to be dropped to put the tunnel plate on and is a PITA. You should not have to pay any install cost that way. I got the Elite Engineering 1/4" but since you have a Vert I would get at least the3/8" with the insulation. You will notice a difference.
