Towing

I'm relocating and want to tow my C-5 (manual transmission) behind another vehicle. This is a typical tow dolly where the front wheels are secured, on the dolly, and the rear wheels are on the road way. Is this an acceptable method? Should I have any concerns in towing the vehicle this way? Thank You

I would put it on a trailer. I plan on doing this when I move next month.

Use a flatbed car trailer. The car dolly requires you to remove the driveshaft on a rear wheel drive vehicle (many don't and just let the transmission spin in neutral...not good)

if im not mistaken gm says specifically to not tow the corvette

no tow dolly.....worst case is you can rent a flat bed from uhaul

From the 2003 owners manual:

The “Towing Your Vehicle“ section says "call a professional"
