Should be able to get it out pretty easily. Worse comes to worse stick the socket in a vice and with a flat blade screw driver tap the nut out.
Got them off. If anyone is in a similar predicament a 13/16th socket does the trick. It is a pain getting the locking nut out of the socket but with some pounding it works.
Had the same problem, tool suppliers sell what to me is an inside out easy out. A socket that has curved reverse splines that will did into your locking lug and allow you to remove it. When the lug gets stuck in the tool, put it in a vise "bottom up" and drive the lug out with a flat tip punch.

This it what I did also. Tap the socket style easy out on, and it pulls them right off. Napa sells the stock size lugs. Goodluck!
