Default Top panel solar shield

Has anyone used the top panel solar shades from Mid America Motorworks? Does it stay put after you put it on? Any problems with it?
Thanks folks.

I got the snap in headliner from Mid-America for $67.99 and it works perfect. We went on a road trip yesterday and remarked how the AC was keeping up really well on a 92* day. It also makes the inside more "finished" like a real headliner. I figured the "static cling" version would fall out about the day you really needed it.

I am thinking about that one as well. I did have concerns about the static cling one falling down driving down the highway at 75mph

I've not taken it out but when I was trimming to fit it was real easy to pop in and out. I really don't like my glass top much any more so this is a good alternative.

I have had mine on for over 4 years and it has never fallen off the top. It does help keep the temps down but not as well as a solid insert would but on the upside, you can still see out of the cling on shield.

My wife likes the idea of seeing thru the "static cling" one. We have to do something, if we are out of it for half an hour it is already hot inside. I have the painted top, just like the look of the glass top better.

I installed my static cling unit from West Coast Corvettes over a year ago, and it's stuck on so tight that I can hardly get a finger nail under the edge of it. But, I have no intention of taking it off so I never mess with it. When I installed it, I had the top laying on my bed upside down, then I fussed with it for over an hour to get it to lay perfectly & evenly on the glass. It does reduce solar radiation, but I always put my painted top on each May until October. It's alot cooler and quieter.

Good luck.
