First Road Trip
I just purchased my first Corvette a 1999 Vert A/T and just got back from my first 400 mile road trip. What a GREAT ride and I averaged 26 mpg,in my opinion the C5 Corvette is the best bang for the buck in the performance market. I can't wait for my next trip.

It is amazing how comfortable the C5 is and the fuel economy it gets. Glad you had a fun trip.

I also have a 99 Vert ..wife & I always take our vette on long trips versus her Lexus SUV.She always prefers the Vette over her Lexus on long trips.Last February we went to the Keys in Florida for 2 weeks = logged 2500 miles on that trip alone.Enjoy your ride~~~
