Hey guys quick questions, first is the most important before I close on a 03 C5Z.
1. The front tires are 255s not 265s, the owner said he went slightly down bc they rubbed in tight turns. Is there truth to this?
1. How much could I expect to sell 4 next to perfect chrome OEMS wheels with new Michelin PSP2s tires?
2. Are all 03 C5Z suspension the same? Do any parts wear out quickly?
That's all I can think of, been stalking you all for a while, hope to join you soon.
My front track tires are 275/40-17, they do not rub when turning. I can't imagine that the stock 265/40-17 would rub unless they were mounted on wheels with an incorrect offset or the car has been lowered to the extreme.

Car has not been lowered. Then why in the world would he have gotten 255s instead of 265s? They seem to drive great, there is minimal difference I guess.
its not a big deal, i currently have 245's on the front of my c5z. They handle great and they are lighter.
thanks,
I talked to the seller this morning and now the price he said he would take last night he is not sure about. My wife wanted me to get the carfax before I made the deal. The car Checked out last night and I got her approval, but I am waiting on the seller to make up his mind?? I drove three extra hours to see the car.
makes me want to bite them when they do stuff like that.
YES! Ahh just got home from work. I am going to give this guy a call in the morning before lunch when I get up. It just doesn't seem "right" to say you will sell for a price and then, wait uh errr no, I have to think about it. Just letting off some steam.

Well, the owner said he is going to "keep the car". Case closed. I shall continue the hunt.
