Schrader Air Aware TPMS off Amazon
I bought them for my 1999 Corvette and they work great, much better price then the dealer and they programmed right up plus order from amazon free shipping. For anyone on the fence dont hesitate they work great for less.

Good to know! Are there both early and late C5 sensors?

thanks for the tip...I went to the site but couldn't figure out the correct part for a 97...seems they sell just one sensor for Chevrolet/Cadillac...if you could post some detail I would appreciate it....

The one for the early years is here (you must search all products and click on details and use pull down menus to verify you have the right one):
http://www.amazon.com/Schrader-AirAw...tive&carId=002
It is $89, for that price I would buy a new GM one from Frictner's (I did) or Gene, they are both GREAT Forum vendors.

I need one for my 98 right now and I think most of us in the 1997-2000
era C5s will need them shortly.
Lets keep this thread going to uncover the best price out there

Yep! When I upgraded my wheels & tires I replaced the 12-year old sensors in my '98, even though they were still working fine. Figured I was on borrowed time at that point. Ordered 4 @ $69 each from TR and got'em shipped for same price as 1 shipped!

JW, I didn't see them on their website, but if you call they should still have them. I got mine last year.

Shrader is making a new TPS that's universal to eliminate tire shops and such from having to have many different kinds in their inventory. Don't know how much they are??? I'll bet Gene would know.
