Default best car covers?

I hate to start a new thread on a question that's probably been asked a hundred times already, but I can't find an easy way to search the forum, so here goes: What do you consider to be a good car cover for outdoor storage, in a climate that is hot, humid, and often rainy (i.e., Florida)?

I've poked around on the Internet and I've looked in catalogs from Eckler's and Mid American Motorworks. Based on what I've seen, I think I like the Covercraft Weathershield, but it's only a single layer. Another choice seems to be the Coverking Storm Proof but it is also single layer. A third choice would be the Kimberly-Clark Noah but it is relatively bulky even when compared with multi-layer car covers.

You may have a different choice. I'd like to know what your actual experience has been, and whether you'd recommend what you have to another Corvette owner.

Thanks in advance -

We have the Stormproof red on sale right now

They are very good car covers for the price based on customer reviews.

The best would be the Autobody Armor, but it's not cheap at $355 + shipping.

I have an Autobody Armor cover and it has outlasted my previous "premium" cover by 3X.

I've had four different covers from three different companies. I will only buy CoverKing covers from now on........

Good Luck......

California Car Cover I've used for years without any hickups. Seams, mildew, or material rash left behind from setting through the seasons. my .2

I got a "Noah" from Covercraft, not weatherproof but very water repelant and it breathes not trapping your car in a saunah on humid days. I got it for my son's '99 because of leaking window seals that were wetting the carpet on rainy days, it has kept the car dry inside and out. It also has a high percentage UV block.
