Weirdest thing ever...
Was driving in parking garage, happened to hit my wiper stalk... Wasnt any big deal. The end button FLEW off!
All the sudden wipers start going, spewing washer fluid. Top was down, windows down, and just spewing washer fluid!!!
I assume there was a spring in there, it's gone. The plastic end I found, but can't do anything with it. Had to pull the fuse to get it to stop!!! Still broken. Am I the only one this has ever happened to? Do I just buy a new stalk???

Yep, VERY common problem. Just go to NAPA and for $14.95, get the WSBP and install it. (Wiper Stalk By-Pass)
You'll never have that problem again.

Is this a new stalk? Or a new switch of some kind?

WOW! first I've heard of this.
Check it out and see if you can find the spring under the seats somewhere and perhaps repair it. It's got to be in the Vette - well unless it went flying out the window
I had something similar happen to my E-brake on my saturd but I repaired it
found the spring under the passengers seat
Thanks,Matt

Wish I didn't, but I drive in the rain (DD) but don't use the wipers (rainX) and NEVER use washer fluid on any of my vehicles. Nasty stuff!!

Got to admit that is one problem I had not heard of. Guess the solution is to get a new stalk.

What are these windshield wipers you talk about? Not sure my C5 has 'em...if it does I've never used 'em.
