Any ideas - Gentex Mirror Compass Display
I have the Gentex auto dimming mirror with the Compass display w/Donnelly wiring harness. Display just quit working. Map lights come on fine. Just the display. I checked the wiring in the footwell and the orange wire connection is fine.
Any ideas?

Check your temp control probe underneath the car. Maybe something is pinching the wire? I have the same set up but no problems.

Why would the temp probe wire cause the compass to stop working? Do you also have the temp on the mirror like my Gentex mirror does? Even when the temp wire is not hooked up it should still show 0 or something if memory serves.
The only idea would be to connect the mirror up to the battery. That will eliminate everything in between. If there is still no display then it's time for a e-bay search.
