C6 active handling recall .....C5?
I see where the GM has a recall for C6's regarding the Active Handling System . Seems the tilt wheel causes wear on the wires/connector for the active handling system and cause the car to brake suddenly to the left or right .
My '02 is experiencing the same symptoms and I'm wondering if the "fix" might be the same .
Anyone else out there having this problem ?

No problems with mine, but I don't change the tilt setting at all on mine. It has the telescoping wheel and that is all that is moved.

I had the same problem but it was the steering wheel sensor adapter. Pull your panel so you can see under the dash. At the base of the steering wheel shaft is the said sensor you'll know it when you see it. Grab it and twist it if it twists the sensor adapter/bearing is broken and needs to be replaced. Its roughly $70 for a new one.
