Still have same issue there is no anti freeze flow what so ever .The fluid just sits.My car has 26,000 babied miles.Cannot amagine the waterpump is bad or the system is clogged. The anti freeze looks flawless.WHATS NEXT.

I would say...do the logical stuff...messy but logical...first off, the big hose going to the radiator. Undo it, hold it upright see if the proper amount is leaking from it when you drain it into a bucket. Check out all the other hoses as well. Your looking for any bulges or obstructions. If your getting no bubbles or movement anywhere, I would say you have a really blocked hose somewhere or the water pump has frozen up and gone dead. No miles or 26,000 miles things happen. It is just like a person having a heart attack in their 20's, these things rarely happen, but it does take place.

***DUMB QUESTION BUT GOT TO ASK IT***....you are letting it get to operating temperature to where the T-stat opens right? Also you do have the T-stat going the right direction? There is a "this side up" and "down" on them.

Take the belt off and try turning the water pump pulley by hand. You should feel some sort of resistance when turning, if it turns to easily you will need to pull the water pump and check it. Water pumps normally leak and to have one fail with a busted impeller or shaft would be rare but not impossible.

How are you checking to determine there is no flow? You would not see any flow by just looking in the expansion tank.

If you turn the heat setting on full hot do you get hot air flow in cabin? Do the hoses going to the heater core get hot?

I didn't see the previous thread. Is the car overheating? Does the temp guage reading climb continuously?

Stuck thermostat....it happens. OR, the t-stat hasn't opened up yet... its not at 187 degrees yet...thats when it starts to open.
