A4 shift **** exchange

Hey forum, Im in the middle of a project, Im exchanging my a4 shifter on my C5 for a c6 and would appreciate any help that I can get. Once I removed the shift assembly I found some damage. I havent learned how to post pics of my work here yet. Oh my C5 is a 98 coupe.

Sure Clif,/Users/anthonybarnes/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Modified/2007/ My Rides/IMG_3690.JPG The white plastic piece on the right of the sift selector is not connected to anything. As well as my 98 C5 coupe can be shifted into gear without depressing the brake.

Exchanging shifters and can't post a pic? What's wrong with that picture? Oh right, can't see the pictures. Good luck with your mod, hope all ends well.
