Default Climate control

The digital display on my control panel went out. Is there a simple fix or is it another trip to GM?

Pretty common problem. You can fix this yourself if you dont mind soldering a few components (not hard to do) see link.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...ery-dim-2.html

Or you might be able to send it out to be fixed (although I dont recall who still does them).

Or you could replace the unit, last time I looked it wa s about $300.

I soldered mine, works like a charm.

Or if you don't want to mess with it, you can send it to a place like JW Motoring - they repair the dim display and can install LEDs in it also.
