BSM Removal?

BSM Removal?
I removed one side of the body side molding and looks like there is an indention where the molding was for all these years. Has anyone else seen this when they removed theirs and is there a way to fix it? It's almost like they put it on while the paint was not fully cured.

Only option is to sand down the doors and reapint or throw the BSM's back on my friend...sorry and good luck

As stated above your car might have been repainted, When I took mine off my 2002 is was smooth as a babys butt.

That's what I was figuring, thanks for the response. May just have to clean the BSM up and put them back on. I'll pull out in the sun tomorrow to see if it looks really bad or not and post up some pictures.
