This winter I forgot to attach my battery tender and the battery went dead. I charged it and the car started right up no problems, but since then I have been getting this intermitent "Service Active Handling" code. The dealership told me that they did a scan and everything is okay. Not sure why I keep getting this message.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any help would be greatful.
My car has been getting the dreaded Active Handling message. It comes and goes, there are lots of write ups on this in the tech section. Normally the BPMV that is mounted in front of your power steering pump is starting to fail. Its a common problem for these cars. Hope this helps.

Thx Marc,
I took it back to the dealership today as it was just diagnosed on June 21st as my extented warranty just expired then. They said that since I had reported it in June they would still honour any repairs it would need. My tech advisor said they would check it out and update the software?
For those who may not know, if it is the EBCM that goes you can have it rebuilt by a place like Absfixer for less than $200 and they warranty the work.
No prob. Also, for codes like that one...a cool feature is you can check tho codes while your driving...so if it's the type of code that only pops up while driving and then disappears (although it should still show the H code) you can still diagnose.
