So, after I took the glamor shots shown in my other thread, I was driving around and took a turn a bit too sharp (it was into a roundabout that was WAY too small in diameter for anything but a Smart Forttwo) and ended up on the curb for an instant. I was worried sick that I had damaged something immeasurably, but the car drives straight and all I got was a bit of road rash.
You can't even see these scrapes if you're standing less than 3 feet from the car because of the curvature of the vehicle, but I want to get this fixed soon. Any idea what it would cost at an auto body shop, and/or would this be a simple repair w/ touchup paint and clearcoat?
That my friend is one of the few FIBERGLASS pieces on the car. Take it to anyplace and get it fixed.
Any idea what this might run me?
Remember... These cars are cheap to fix.. just ask people here to save yourself money. DONT TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP.
I didn't even take my car to the stealership for the free oil change I got with my purchase. So far as I'm concerned this car is never seeing a dealer again.
I won't go into how this is all your fault
I appreciate it. Trust me, I've been kicking myself in the *** constantly from the instant it happened. I feel bad enough already .
