Default FAST 102 questions...

So I bought a 92 FAST off of a member(he was upgrading to a 102). He isnt going that route anymore and offered me the 102 FAST.Since the purchase I've bought an ls2 TB. Can I make this work for my Ls1? My friend with a Z keeps telling me its too much and is meant for stroked motors. Has anyone put a 102 with a H/C and had a great outcome? These are the only questions I can think to ask off the top of my head. If there is any more info needed from me just ask.

Thanks for the help
Shayne

It's not to much intake. It's not just for strokers, it's their newest intake and they discontinued the others. They make a couple of different versions so make sure you get the one you need. I believe you will need different fuel rails. On my car with a 90mm TB we picked up 10hp over a ported 90. Hopefully I'll have numbers with the 102mm TB soon.

Dont use the 102 on the LS1, too much work (cutting around the firewall for it to clear OR adding shims to the cradle which is complete BS) and parts to get it to work (fuel rails, etc), if you want to get a few more ponies have the 92 ported (which will beat the unported 102), otherwise just bolt it on with the LS2 TB and have it tuned. The 102 is a complete waste of money IMHO over the 92 on a LS1. There is a thread somewhere on the total cost to get the FAST 102 to work on the LS1 and its $1500+ (brand new parts), the 102 will net you ~5-10 RWHP (if that) over a unported 92. Use the extra money saved for gears or other go fast parts.

I was going to buy a 102, but after seeing all the crap you had to do to make the thing fit I decided to stick with my 92. To me its like some of the air intakes you have to fight with to get to work. I cant see spending so much money on something and it not fit the way it should or having to cut stuff to make it fit.
