ABS/TCM Blues
My '98 Coupe has a leaking BPMV. Unfortunately, it leaked onto the EBTCM and has ruined it too. More unfortunately, GM in their wise ways has quit making both parts for my model year and I am having no luck finding replacements. The two parts cost about $3400. I would think that GM was making a fortune on these, but for some reason quit making them (or at least having someone else make them for GM). I'm told that the decision was in part due to their cutting back as a result of the belt tightening they supposedly are doing.
Any help on finding these parts is appreciated.

Away on vacation on wifes laptop (so I dont have any of my saved links) but you may be able to have your EBCM rebuilt/repaired, google or search here for ABSFixer.
There are some years that they dont service but hopefully yours isnt one of them.
Also Corevtte Salvage may have one (or try the auction site).

I had my EBCM for my 2003 rebuilt by a guy I found on E-Bay, His screen name is Mandigital. He charged me $75.00 and it came with a warranty. I sent it to him on a Monday, and received it back the following Monday. He's still on E-Bay, I checked yesterday for another member.
