HELP! Front end damage repairs/paint/primer
My car is a 1999 Triple Black Convertible Is there a professional autobody person that can help me with an opinion? I recently rearended a party with my vette
The hood, front bumper and LT fender were replaced. The car was repaired, primered and painted and then I picked it up. Horrible swirls and blemishes. I brought it back again and they said it was ready to pick up after half a day. The Problem got worse!! I took pix and I went back again saying it was unacceptable. They are telling me that you cannot buff/polish new paint until it has "cured" for 30 plus days! Then once it has cured I am to bring it in and they will buff, wax/polish and ALL the swirls and blemishes will be gone.! Am I getting a straight up response or being put off? Insurance has already paid etc... (This is a very reputable shop in my town) Should I get another opinion?
