So i lowered vette and like most front is high.The guy who did the work said he would have to remove control arm to install the front lowering bolt? I dont see that in the directions that came with kit. So yes or no on removing control arms to install new front bolts

When I lowered my front it was alittle high. I waited, drove my
vette around and noticed after a few days that the front indeed
had come down. Don't do anything just drive and see if your
front will come down. Good luck.
You don't have to remove the control arm, but you do need to unbolt the upper (easier) A arm from the wheel (single bolt), the 2 lower bolts on the shock so that the lower A arm will drop enough for the bolt to come out.
Lowering the front end without cutting the rubber will give you about 1/2"- 3/4" max. Cutting the rubber (which guys have done without removing although looks like a pain) will give you 1-1/2" of drop. Removing the bolt gives you 2"- but either of these, you'll be riding on the bumpstops of your shocks and have Zero travel.
Mine is on oem bolts and uncut bushings. Any lower and the ride would suffer, IMO. After it's done, drive it under varied conditions to allow the suspension to settle. Mine took about 100 miles of curvy mountain roads before it stabilized. Then definitely have it aligned. It dropped 3/4" in the back and about 5/8" in the front. You also need to decide to compensate for driver weight if you want it to be level.
