Default Idea for Side mirrors

would it be possible to make the mirrors adjust automatically to face the pavement when you put it in reverse to make parking easier? My friends TBSS has that feature and i thought it was cool. maybe radioflyer can come up with something

I'd bet there is some way to make it happen - one of our creative members or vendors might have some ideas.

I'll have to try this, but, what happens if you program #2 exactly for that? Would it work?

I had a Cadillac SRX that did that. I'll bet someone could retrofit the existing GM parts and make it work. Probably wouldn't be worth the effort though.

Wouldn't be hard actually. Just need to interface with the memory module I think.

Thanks, I never turn down a blessing, but not sure if it will work, and seems by the other answers, it might not. Just a thought.

What I would do is program #3 for your seat position and the mirrors adjusted to the ground, I am sure it would work. Then all you have to do to get back where you were is push button 1.
1 is for me. 2 is for my son and 3 is for parking... easy.

To program #3 all you have to do is set everything where you want it and push and hold both button 1 and 2 till they blink, To recall #3 just push both 1 and 2 buttons.

I do have to add that I am able to park without the mirrors pointing to the ground.

I just added the little dots for towing trailers. the small convex ones..they work great

#2 program should work fine though, just set seat, column etc same as #1 and just move mirrors down..adjustment will only take a second

My Acura TLS has this feature. I like it, however to be honest, when backing out my Vette, it already sits low enough where I really don't miss the mirror lowering like the Acura.

I could definitely seen the need in an SUV.

With the price of some of the wheels on the market, this is a great idea.I know I always adjusted mine when parking, didn't want the curb rash.

I never thought about programming #2. Great idea!

Yep, it was just a "fly by" thought I had, my adjustments are programed to #1, no one for #2/3, so I tried it myself, and yep, it does work.
