no jack, no spare on C5's. get a floor jack that will get under 3", leave room for a hockey puck on top of the jack seat so you don't damage your rocker panels. I bought a jack from Harbor Freight.
They should have incorporated some type hydraulic automatic jacks that lower from the car like on the Indy cars. But the weight and cost added would be too much.

Where's the jack???
I'm right here.
Seriously, the C5 does not come with a jack. Since GM put runflats on the car from the factory, no jack was included. Just find yourself a good low profile floor jack and then do your calipers.
I'm wanting to take the wheels off to paint my calipers but can't find a jack in the car-2000 vert-or the manual. Did they not come with a jack? If I have to buy one what is the required height-has not been lowered. Thanks.
It's right under the spare tire

NO JACK/NO SPARE. Get a flat your screwed
Can always do what I do....take the jack out of my wifes honda and throw it in the car on long trips. Also carry a tire repair kit and the mini compressor (Z06's came with it, not sure about coupe?)
it bolts to the bottom side of the targa top just in case you need to lift it off at high speeds. Like said above, these cars came with EMT-runflat tires, minus the Z06s, so there isn't a jack or a spare tire.
I needed a good laugh this morning! Behind the rear seat? Seriously the C5's did not come with jack or spare tire. It also came with runflat tires, but you might want to check to see if those have been replaced with non-runflats. I bought an inexpensive 1 1/2 ton floor jack from autozone. I have to run the wheels up on a 2 x 6 board to get enough clearance. That does fine for tire changes and minor underneath service. Hope you enjoy you car!
