Wow I can't believe all the interest in my thread. There was even a few people who were helpful. I recently bought the car and not running on runflats. Every vehicle I've ever owned has had a jack and I live in the country where I just can't call somebody to change a tire-nor would I ever call somebody to do that. Thanks to the genuine owners out there. By the way I couldn't find the flux capacitor.
why was the other thread locked anyway? I was having a really good time reading it. a little humor to spice up an otherwise dull afternoon.
to the poster good luck! if you are in an area where help may not be near by I personally would get runflats on teh car. I did on mine just for peace of mind. I frequently drove it through very rural areas late at night to visit people and I didn't want to end up stranded. if you want to go that route there are many threads. almost everyone will steer you away from the goodyear EMTs that were OEM. I think a pretty good consensus is the Michelin pilot A/S ZP (zero pressure) is probably the most popular all season runflat tire. its quiet and performs great. that's what I have on my car. very happy with them.
