Default Need help !

I need some help from the Z06 big brothers. I have a 99 coupe, low mile, A4 with all options. My 99 is paid for, but I really like the 02 blue/black Z06.:yesnod: What are the positives and negatives of the Z06 over my coupe? I think I would miss the telescoping steering wheel and I can’t remove to roof panel. Comments Please !
Thanks Al

Howdy Al!

I went from a 2000 Vert A4 to an '02 EB Z06.

To start, I do miss being able to remove the top. I also miss the Twilight Sentinel. I thought I would miss the telescopic steering wheel but it wasn't a big deal after all.

The Z06 is a different beast though. I do mean BEAST! It drives differently and the power is awesome.

I guess it's a personal choice as to what's more important to you. If you're into it for the speed and adrenaline, the Z06 is the car!

I went from a loaded vert to an 02 Z06! I miss the CD stacker. telescoping column is nice, obviously the convertible top is nice, but we are talking 405 HP Z06 here!!!! Enough said! :smash:

Dave this is all your fault. :D I saw your EB Z06 and I fell in love. Blue is my favorite color anyway: although the black looks bad to the bone. But one black car in the driveway is enough. We enjoy cruisin’ with the top off, but most of the time it stays on. I think I will really miss the telescopic steering wheel though. I think I can over look a few of these minor comforts to have my own “beast”. Well, I guess it’s time to talk $$
Oh Monica..

Racer44 I have a 10 stack Sony with remote control in the back hatch of my coupe. That gets pulled before we strike a deal.
“ but we are talking 405 HP Z06 here!!!! Enough said “
I think you said it all.
Thanks guys
Dave, I heard how you helped out Scott last weekend. That was really:cool:.

I went from a 98 A4 Coupe to the Z and don't regret it a bit. Then again, I didn't remove my roof panel very often. I drove a couple of used Zs first and I knew I had to have one. I think you'll find a big difference between the 6sp and the A4 and when you add the power difference it's like driving a completely different car, a LOT more fun if you're wanting a hot rod.
