New Tranny Installed
Just got my 2003 A4 back from the Stealership with a new tranny. I cooked 3rd and 4th gear clutches when visiting Gulfport, MS. The only people who would touch it were Preston Hood Chevy of Biloxi. They replaced the tranny on time and everything seems to work as it should, Total cost was $3711.92. I wanted to put an RPM tranny in, but being away from home, couldn't find anyone to do it. I did get a 3yr 100,000 mile warranty.
It also motivated me to fix the small things I've been procrastinating over. I re-soldered the resisitors in the climate contol unit. It didn't even have a display; Now works perferctly. Time to install a new radio now

Heck of a price for a tranny, but 
for getting the car back on the road. And nice job fixing the HVAC unit yourself.
