Power seat ???????
I recently purchased my '97 and noticed that the passenger side power seat was not working, looked under and seen it was disconnected so I re-connected and the side and lumbar supports work, it moved all the way forward but will not go back or up and down using the horizontal slider. Decided to swap out the switch control with the drivers side and it worked there so it's not the switch housing. Could it be the motor that is bad even though the other features work? Any ideas??? Thanks!

Seat problems ?
I was having problems with my 2003 drivers seat, it has the option of "Easy entry, Easy exit" which worked but wouldn't remember the settings I programed into the BCM.
It's still under GMPP warranty, so I took into the dealership and it wound up, ( Are you sitting down?) the cost was $2100.00. But the service writer replaced just everything attached to the drivers seat including a new set of seat tracks and a new motor. I asked if mine were going bad? He said no, but since we've got the seat out of the car it would foolish not to just put on a new set, They go bad faily often !"

I have a pair of sport seats for sale in the parts section. The passenger seat is all working and looks great. The driver seat is missing the SCM and the bolster and side functions never worked.
