So what's the deal on LED strips? I have some stuff I'd like to do. I'm more of a do it yourselfer than someone who will buy an already modded part. Performing the mod is half the fun right??
So I want that audi quality look. visible during the day. I'm looking at the self adhesive strips and will use them on the outside of the car. Any of you guys bought some of the ebay strips? are they superbright like the audi's? if so who's the seller? or, where else did you get some. I really really want them to have the superbright look of the audi's durning the day.
surely someone makes something as bright as the audi's..... I want to say I've even seen some guys with some pre made stuff on this forum (driving lights if memory serves) that looked just as bright.
I may still buy a strip to try messing around with but it seems the strips just don't come close to replicating the audi's brightness. My car is far far from a daily driver and I can't even remember the last time it was out in the dark (probably more than a year ago). So I really need something visible during the day, your guys lights look great but they don't seem too bright during the day.
I just ordered 40 of these to mess around with. They should be pretty darn bright. We'll see. I'm still open to ideas....but for $30 I figured I'd order some of these up to see how bright they are.

Reason: eBay links not allowed

no ebay links allowed I guess, I can't link to any other shops either.
so i guess I'll explain. I bought some 10mm white led individual bulbs. They are 15000mcd with 25 degree viewing angle.
bought a few red one's to mess around with too

Hey stang, can you PM me the links of where you got your LED's? I'm working on a similar project, and have all the ingredients (LED switchbacks, LED corner bulbs, LED strips, and new clear corner lenses) My problem is the same as yours where my LED's are not as bright as I'd like them to be. Just want to see what you got.
