Default 4A transmission cooler mount?

After a RPM transmission swap I want to install a trans cooler. Where did you mount your trans cooler? Thanks, Tom

I mounted it in front of the AC coil. In the photo you can see the transmission cooler to the left and the oil cooler to the right. A piece of aluminum sheet was cut a little larger than the cooler then a large rectangle hole was cut in the center to allow airflow. One slight bend at the bottom places the cooler at the same angle as the radiator and two screws mount the assembly to the lower skid plate frame. The aluminum bar at the top with two screws is for the Variram and isn't connected to the coolers. The front doesn't have to be removed to do this, it was off for painting.

Thanks "Fast one" you did a very neat installation. Did you notice how much lower your transmission fluid temp ran after installation? How about the oil temp after cooler? Thanks again.

After a half hour of driving on slow and fast roads the temeratures were: 185 for oil, 212 for coolant and 185 for the transmission fluid. This was at 86 degrees outside with a DeWitts radiator, DeWitts fans and a 195 degree thermostat. The transmission fluid goes to the radiator cooler first then the outside cooler.
