Any problems with the remote starter?
My 99 C5 came with an remote starter but the thing is a pain. It will not stay programmed. I program it over and over again and after a day or two the stupid thing forgets. If this is a problem with the remote or the receiver I have no idea. I suspect it's an isolated glitch but I registered here to see if anyone else has had this problem before. I'd appreciate any assistance.

What kind of alarm? manual or auto?
I have a 6-spd with a Compustar remote start and had problems initially cuz the installer sucked, but I rewired the thing myself and haven't had problems since.

Hard to say what might be the issue since C5s didn't come from the factory with a remote starter. If you know what brand it is, you might be best taking it to a shop that handles that brand and see if they can diagnose what is going on.
