I am a right leg above-the-knee amputee and just bought a 2002 C5 and need to convert it for left foot drive. Also have a 1984 C4. It's not required in Missouri, and I can drive it as is, but it would make it easier for me and others in the same situation. If anybody knows of somebody who has done this, or has any ideas on how it can be done I would appreciate the help.

I don't know of anyone that's done it but you sure came to the right place.
A LOT of really bright minds on here and since the throttle is drive-by-wire I'll bet it's nothing more than figuring out how to remount the gas pedal.
You mention that Missouri does not require the mod, so do other states require it? If so, I wonder if they have a list of who provides this type of modification. I wonder if the shops that outfit wheel-chair vans, etc. could assist?
My father had the same problem. He bought a unit that attaches to the floor and had it installed. It moves the gas pedal to the left side of the brake pedal. It didn't cost much and worked very well. I removed it from his car after he died. You can have it for the shipping charge.

Not sure where you are located in Missouri.
There are some businesses around that do conversions for disabled individuals and they may be able to help you out by either having a kit already available or being able to fabricate something that will do the job. For instance, in Columbia Mo you might want to contact DW Auto.
