Great addition, looks much better. Perhaps along with your mentioned future upgrades, you could build/put a better appearing mailbox base to match the house. Not a knock, just an idea to consider.
Thank you, I am moving the mailbox to the left side of the driveway and replacing it with one I have been working on for a while now, it is not finished yet. One of those 1000 projects I am in the middle of
But yes the one in the picture is worthless.
It looks really nice!! I have been thinking about doing the same thing minus the turn around. If you dont mind, how much $$ does that run?
I spent $5200 and that included the removal of the old driveway, and a walkway on the left side of the garage to the side access door. I also spent $300 on city permits.
I had done my entry-way courtyard area and back patio around the pool for $5500 last year. It is hard to see from the pictures but the entire entry area behind the front wall is pavers also. The Driveway basicly goes right to the front door.. You can see it better from here:
It looks great. I had a Canary Island Date Palm in my front yard and it got too big and was blocking the house. I put in a couple of Queen Palms and it looks much better now. Just a suggestion. Good luck.
