Default My new switchback and taillights video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ism_y...=youtube_gdata
here is a small video of my new custom lighting, including switchbacks, rear sequencing turn signals, blue cove, blue door handle and blue interior lights.
It may be a bit too rice for some of you but I like it.

I have never seen the revers lights do that. it's pretty cool. I also have never seen the LED strip in the front switch back as well as the actual turn signal. Could you post more info on that?

Super cool man.

Super cool man.
For the reverse lights, I bought one of the adjure clear lens frames and when I was changing it I noticed that the style sockets were the same as the front signal lights, just different bulbs 1157. (actually I think these type are common across most GM products)
I went to autozone and bought 2 new sockets and replaced them with the new 3 wire 3157 sockets
I already had the signal light sequencer and it was made for mustangs or corvettes so it had 3 outputs but only used 2 when the originals were hooked up, so I just added another wire and ran it down t
I then found a set of red/white switchbacks and ran them to it. (I was originally going with amber and wonder if those would work in Europe where they are required to have amber signals?)
I also found some LED strips that have the LED's on the side pointing out I added them to the vents just to see what it would look like,so that the ones in the vent can not even be saw unless they are on.

The front strips are the normal white that lots of people have and the yellow are the new side firing strips. They are actually under the housing and can not be saw unless they are on also.
To get them to switchback I used a SPDT relay and rewired the whole thing so that the front DRL do not light up during the day because the power gets pulled from the night time parking lights.

The blue lights are in the cove and door handles plus a strip of flat ones under the door so that it lights up when you open the door at night you can see what you are stepping in.

I replaced all original inside lights with blue LED's and the other interior led's are flat black strips that blend in or are hidden under inside panels. None are visible during the day unless they are on but when they are on the whole interior of the car is blue.

I do like the LED strips under the front driving lights did you do that or did you buy them like that. I would like to get a set of black cherry front DRL with a LED stip down on the bottom.

I bought the strips, they are so small and flat that you can completely hide them under the housing.
They have the lights mounted on the end and face outward.

It is not really as bright in person as it looks in the video.
I need to redo the video at dusk instead of midnight.

Nice job - shouldn't be any problems with people noticing the car.

They are very similar to these. But not exact. I do not have a piture of mine before I installed them.
I have requested some white ones and when I get them I will take a picture of them.

The strips are flat and the leds are on the edge pointing out.

Do you think a big wing like the nascar cars had for a while would make it look better?
