I am currently running C6 Z06 wheels w/ a C5 offset (18s and 19s). I love how they are more flush w/ the fender. I have stock thinspokes I would like to use, but just can't get over how sunken in they look. Any logical suggestions? TIA
^ Thanks for the reply! All 4 wheels? Is this something anyone else has done? What about the wheel studs? Link to said spacers? Believe me..I have searched w/ no solid answers.
I have C6 take offs on my car with a 1/4" spacer in the back. No problems what so ever, but I dont know how far out you are looking to go. I was told not to go over 1/4" with out changing the studs.

Rob, I believe I have the same as you..just without the spacers. Thats fine for me. I just want to run the thinspokes w/ same flushness. I guess I would have to run over 1/4" though to achieve this w/ my stockers.

I do not have the C5 offsets though my wheels are in the C6 offsets and I heard a lot of guys running spacers on the rear wheels because the C6 offset is set in to far. My wheels would look better with a 1/2" spacer on the rear but I do not want to do that without putting stronger and longer studs. You could always try the 1/4" or 1/2" spacers and see where it puts them its not that expensive or better yet maybe mount the wheels with washers and see how far out they have to be spaced for the look you want then go from there and order spacers
Your car looks good with those wheels and I would like to get my wheels to sit flush like that possible future mod
I'm running 12mm wheel and hub centric spacers all around with longer studs and ET nuts... Very solid and I track the car, no problems.
I don't have any great pics showing the dpth but these may help;
I need a 13mm in the back though as I'm danger close to the calipers back there.If you want a set of 12mm spacers let me know as I'm going to be ordering some 13mm/1/2" spacers soon...

what some of the folks replying in this thread seem to be missing is that you're talking about spacing your STOCK wheels out to flush.
I used the 1" spacer like the one pictured above to install stock C6 rims on rear of my 97. They work great but I had to grind about 1/8" off the stock studs as they protruded above the spacer. I haven't heard anyone talk about this before and wonder why. It is not very noticeable and would recomend anyone who has used this type of spacer to take a very close look to see if there is a tiny gap between rim and spacer.
